Run Details

Summerfast 10km 2022 is a BC Athletics sanctioned race and part of the BC Super Series.

The Summerfast 10K course is a scenic, flat, fast run along the Stanley Park Seawall

The start is located adjacent to Ceperley Playground, east of Stanley Park Drive, on the bike path. The race course swings around the south side of Lost Lagoon and passes beneath West Georgia Street before doing a short loop in Coal Harbour. From there runners head out onto the Seawall.  The race course then follows along the Seawall in a counter clockwise direction. The finish line is back at Ceperley Field, close to the start.

Race Services

  • Race timing is being provided by Startline Timing.  Results will be available online shortly after the race.
  • A complimentary bag check will be located near the start/finish area.  Please ensure your bag is clearly marked with your race number.
  • Water provided at the start/finish and two points on course.
  • On site First Aid services.
  • Join us for post-race for delicious baked goods prepared and packaged in advance in accordance with Covid safety guidelines.

Stanley Park Facilities

  • Parking is available in the park (map).
  • Toilets at start/finish, 5km & 8.5km

Proof of double vaccination will be required from ages 12 and older to participate in the 2022 Summerfast 10k and must be presented at Package Pick-up with a piece of government Issued I.D. (Government-issued I.D. not required for people 18 and under). In addition, masks must be worn at the start and finish line.

In the event of a race cancellation due to Provincial Health Orders related to COVID-19, racers will be given the option to defer their race entry to 2023.

Please note that the Summerfast 10k will be compliant to all Provincial Health Orders at the time of the race and your safety is our number one priority.
